Your new long hair will take some getting used to, but with the proper aftercare routine, they will look beautiful until they are removed.

DO

DON'T

* Brush hair gently with your extension brush before washing the hair

* Wash your hair every 3 to 4 days
(not everyday).
TIP: Tie up the first half and concentrate first on the nape of the neck, then let the rest down and shampoo that part.
Rinse well
!

* Use a leave-in conditioner and heat protectant ALWAYS

* Sleep on a satin covered pillow if possible (helps prevent tangles)

* Tie your hair up in a low braid for bedtime.

* Wear a cap in chlorine pools (chlorine is very drying, makes your hair tangle, and can make blondes look green!)

* Avoiding the bonds, saturate hair with conditioner before entering the ocean
(sun and salt water is very drying and can make any long hair mat and tangle)

* Wear a hat in the sun, or at least, tie up your hair

  * Keep the extensions in for more than 4 months (bonds will become visible, and matting will occur)

* Wash your hair everyday

* Get conditioner on your bonds
(focus on the middle and ends of hair instead)

* Perm or relax your hair extensions

* Wash your hair with your head upside down (washing in the shower is best keeping your head up)

* Wash/style your hair with products that have alcohol in them

* Brush your hair when wet

* Get your curling iron/straightening iron on the bonds; it can melt them

* Blow dry your hair everyday - try letting your hair dry naturally!

Heat is hair's enemy (always use a protective heat product to  prevent heat damage.)
